In this interactive workshop led by UNISG alumna Marta Miolo and Pietro Ganni, we’ll discover the edible wild plants that grow in the city.
We will learn to identify edible weeds, explore their culinary uses, and taste a few of them!
This workshop is curated by Erbass, a cultural and gastronomic project that promotes the preservation and rediscovery of ethnobotanical resources in Italy’s Western Alps.

EGDA {ethnobotany and gastronomic diversity in the alps}
EGDA è un associazione che in questi anni si è occupata di promuovere popolarmente l’etnobotanica, ovvero la scienza che studia i differenti metodi di percezione, riconoscimento, raccolta, trasformazione delle piante sviluppati all’interno di diverse comunità e società, con il fine di ricostruire la loro origine e provenienza. Inoltre l’Associazione si occupa di promuovere la diversità gastronomica, che è lo studio della diversità biologica del cibo, nonché la valorizzazione delle identità gastronomiche e culturali locali, in un’ottica di salvaguardia del contesto nel quale un ingrediente, una ricetta, o un piatto si sviluppano.
L’associazione è apartitica, non ha scopo di lucro e svolge attività di promozione e utilità sociale.
